Basement Floor Lifting

Basement Floor Lifting, Harrisonburg, VA

Problem:

Basement floor inside single family home settled three inches.  The repair was the responsibility of the homebuilder.

Constraints:

The homebuilder wanted to keep their customer happy.  So, they were looking for a non-disruptive, long term repair process.

Solution:

High density polyurethane injection (foam jacking) to raise the basement floor back into place.  Because foam jacking is a quick, clean and quiet process, it can be completed with minimal disruption to normal use.  Slab foundation repair completed with foam jacking fills all of the voids under a slab which caused it to settle, and weights less than mudjacking grout, which helps to ensure that minimal weight is placed on the underlying soil.

Results:

Concrete Jack foam jacking crew raised the basement floor back into place, correcting the three inches of settlement.
