Front Porch Stabilization

front porch void filling using foam

Problem:

A homeowner discovered extensive voids under their concrete front porch.  The customer was concerned that animals would start living in the voids, and that the concrete porch and adjacent sidewalk would start to settle.

Solution:

Polyurethane foam jacking to fill the voids below the concrete porch.  Because of the large size of the voids, Concrete Jack proposed using a low heat void filling foam in order to ensure a complete, safe fill.

Result:

A Concrete Jack porch repair crew completed this front porch stabilization job in a few hours.  As soon as the voids were filled, the customer was able to walk on the porch.  Afterwards, the homeowner installed new mulch to cover up the exposed areas of foam.
