Horse Barn Foundation Repair
The corner of a horse barn foundation settled, causing two large stair-stepped cracks to form in the walls. The barn owner was concerned that if not repaired the foundation would continue to settle and cause further damage to the structure.
Helical pile installation to address settlement, and raise the corner back into place. Because of the relatively light loading, and small section of foundation that had settled, helical piles were more appropriate than push piers.
A Concrete Jack foundation repair crew installed two helical piles to approximately 20 feet deep in a few hours. After the helical piles were installed, the corner of the foundation was lifted back into place.
