HVAC Pad Lifting
The HVAC pad at a daycare facility in Washington, DC settled 4 inches on the outside edge. The pad held four HVAC units, and the customer’s HVAC contractor told them they needed to make the units level again. The customer investigated replacing the concrete slab the units sat on, but it would have required going without air conditioning for multiple days.
Concrete Jack proposed using foam jacking for the HVAC pad lifting repair. Using foam jacking for HVAC pad lifting allows the units to stay in place, and in service during the repair.
Concrete Jack foam jacking crew raised the HVAC slab back into place in a few hours. The HVAC units stayed in service during the entire repair, with no disruption to facility operations.
